there's a program I'm particularly trying to get into. I applied, waited, and was denied. I figured it might've been a fluke, so I applied again. waited almost a week, and then the same thing.

there isn't an email listed. are emails only listed in the "about program" pages in cj if you're already in the program?

I checked the company's main site to find an affiliate page with contact info. can't find a page.

is there anything else I can try to get ahold of them and try to get in?

Don't use a hotmail/yahoo address and do not use the same email address as before if you are re-applying...those are my experiences...

Do they have a phone number listed on the website? If so, try calling them.
Another thought...go to a domain registrar and look at the whois contact information for their domain name. There will be an email address listed there. It probably won't be the person you need to talk to about the affiliate program but its a start Good Luck!

Just talk to someone at CJ. They will surely have an explanation. Although you may get around it by applying as an an apparently different person, it may well be that they have a policy in place which is automatically denying new applicants - unless you establish what this policy is, you may just continue to get denied.

Another possible solution would be to find a similar merchant elsewhere - they can't be the only merchant in their market with an aff program.

Why not post the merchant/product/sevice on here and see if someone else can suggest an alternative that works for them?

Click on show advertisers servicing my country on the bottom.
Are you outside the USA? I tried to join a lot of interesting loan affiliate programs, but it was impossible from my country (in continental Western Europe).

Click on the "Mail" tab at CJ and you should be able to send an internal CJ email to the merchant. There's no guarantee that they check their internal CJ email (most affiliates and many merchants don't), but it's worth a shot. You'll want to check your "Inbox" at CJ periodically for a reply from the merchant.

I'm assuming that you're in a country that the merchant doesn't service, but that your site is targeted to the area that your merchant services. Let the merchant know that. They might be willing to make an exception.

nah, country shouldn't be an issue. they're primarily (exclusively?) US and I live in the US as well.

there are other merchants, but none that seem to have nationwide services- most seem to be spotty, and just offer a few states.

thanks for the tips, I'll let you know if anything works

contact the merchant directly through a 800 number on the merchant web site and ask for an affiliate program manager( or internet marketing manager). if the merchant is a decent size company, there should be a dedicated person for the affiliate program. It is always nice to talk to a PERSON than an automated system.

When I applied to a few merchants on CJ, one of the merchants sent a reject email within 0.5 second. ;-)

I think they only accept applications if the affiliates belong to the preselected categories.

since i had a few sites listed on the account for different categories, the merchant rejected my application without looking at my main site. Most of others approved my site after visiting my site.
