Hi,
I need to link to amazon products, and my traffic is from France, so I logged to my account (successfully) , and changed the Locale to France (from top) and I found myself logged out and I couldn't log in from France Local.

Do I need a new account on each locale?

thanks

Sorry ... I just joined today. In fact, I joined to answer your question.

Yes, you must join each locale separately. (Word to the wise, use the same email address and password).

Unfortunately, Amazon treats each as a separate business, and click throughs from one Amazon to another will not preserve your referral. In your case, if you want to sell products from Amazon.fr to French people, it will work perfectly, however. The language will be French, and the products will be shipped from Europe (not necessarily from France).

Bon chance!

To add to what vlmagee said, you'll also be paid in euros. Not a problem, of course, if you live in Europe.

Dont forget also that if you are selling via amazon.fr and are physically "en france" then you'll have to register as a french business ( siret / siren etc ) urssaf , caisse maladie , retraite etc etc ..

If you dont ..then sooner or later amazon.fr will forward your info to them and they'll come looking for cotisations obligatoires , declarations etc..and back dated payments .."charges" et paperasse :(
