They do not have a number to call and when you email them they take FOREVER to respond. Is it just me or is this a common perception?

I found the same problem. I am trying to get info on becoming a merchant, but any attempts I make at contacting them have been fruitless. Doesn't bode well if I choose to become a merchant with them.

I've never had any luck with them. Lots & lots of clicks but not 1 conversion.
Tried them for about 2 months and gave up. CJ, azoogleads, has been great.

Linkshare's not bad. I signed up with one of their merchants in december. Ran a little campaign for a few days to try it out. Didn't get any conversions, so I dropped it.
Then, 2 weeks ago I get a cheque from them for $60! It converted after all. Might be worth looking into that one again. ;-)
Affiliate Marketing is fun when you start getting cheques you didn't expect!

CJ has always been a much more profitable endeavor. They usually respond to inquiries within 2 days so customer service is good as is the bulk access to data feeds. Have done ok with some LinkShare merchants but have rarely gotten a reply from LS mechants with the exception of a select few who are very responsive.
