I have a new website which sells different products and is ranking on page 1 for some good keywords.
I have a "buy button" for every product and in total we get about 50-100 clicks daily.
The problem i have is that i get no sales even though people click the "buy button" and are redirected to the affiliate websites.
What i think is whoever clicks the "buy button" is willing to purchase the product, but we do not make any sales.
What could be the problem?
Is it that people find it weird when they see a new website with different style and different buttons? And they lose trust, leaving the website as it is.
Should i get my own products and place a shopping cart, so people can directly shop from my website?
Or am i wrong? people usually click "buy buttons" and do not purchase the products?
Please help me out with this. I'm confused.

Doh!
Either YOU are selling or somebody else is. Absolutely correct they back off. Re-think your biz presentation. Keep them on your site, not someone else.
Or... you are selling the stuff and keep it local. If using someone else to sell make sure your visitors know it IS ANOTHER WEBSITE.
We don't trust switch in trade sites.
People purchase from affiliate sites that look completely different then the originating site all of the time, I do not believe that is the problem.
If you are an affiliate that competes with a lot of other affiliates for the same product and do not differentiate yourself somehow, you may see much less then 1% of your visitors convert to sales.
