Better late than never: Business Insider's "Chart of the Day" [businessinsider.com] for April 14th shows that "The growth of Internet advertising through the medium's first 14 years obliterates the growth of advertising for cable and broadcast television over their first 14 years."

doesn't that chart have to account for inflation?

Here's a revenue comparison in current inflation-adjusted dollars.

just answered my own question; however, is it fair to add cable? don't they stay afloat on a subscription-based revenue model? the premium channels to which i almost always switch, when i find the time to watch entourage and sopranos reruns, don't even broadcast 3rd party ads.
