What is the Lycos program?

I got email today from Lycos-Inc/Lycos recently. They talked about how they noticed my Adsense ads and thought that their program was better (of course).

I searched their site a little bit but couldn't find any examples of ads. Anyone know anything about them? The letter stated something about their ads came from a "Yahoo feed." Are they just resellers of YPN?

I remember the name Lycos from years ago. That's probably the only reason I even took this email very seriously.

Lycos UK had some not so great advertising deals a while back, but they were for people to advertise on the Lycos site.

It may be that Lycos have a deal with YPN that allows them to give publishers a good deal - but the only way to really find out is to give it a try and comparison test against your Adsense performance.
