Anybody have experiences on Herbal Products Affiliate

I just wanted to sell some herbal products. I made a research in WT and this is the result I found for my major keyword

KW Count:600----Google Result:8000

I have planed to start a PPC campaign and the maximum bid is $0.20 in OT.
merchant gives 30% commission with life time cookie.

please let me know if this is a good niche to dive into.

Are you able to tell what the average sell could be?

Tons of merchants, tons of products and from what I know, the conversion ratio isn't that high as there are quite a few tire kickers.

That having been said, pick the right product with the right merchant and there is some good $$ to be made. Some serious testing at the lowest possible CPC never hurts.

What is important is not 30% but the price itself.
By the way, I confused about keyword count! how KW count can help you to know if it is a neche or not!

The price is about $100

Competition is not high (8000 result in GG for my major KW)

I don't know if I can rely on WT results (600 times per day)

Look through the products that others with that keyword are selling. Is anyone selling the same product for $10? If so, you're going to need some very compelling ad copy to get people to buy at $100.

MovingOnUp, that is a good point. in google adwords there is only 2 competitor with the same price. But in organic listing there are some ebay stores which sell the product in less price (25% discount). Does it affect my sale?

Yes. The extra margin is how they can pay you 30%, and why it won't sell. Unless you're the only one in a market, comparison shopping will always accur.

Of course, if you aren't relying on search marketing for your sales, but selling to an existing established and trusting user base it may still work. If this is not the case, I think you may have just talked yourself out of it!
