Advice needed on ads (8000 daily unique visits)

Hi,

I'm totally new to the "advertising world" and would like some advice.
My site has 8000+ daily unique visits a day and 650.000 monthly page views.

Any advice for kind of ads? I should probably say that the visitors are mainly European.

Yes, but the click through rate isn't that great.
So I was thinking about CPM, but I have no clue who to ask. I tried tribalfusion, but because I don't have enough US visits, I didn't get accepted.
