If there is an opt-in newsletter for a highly targetted audience, how much is a fair price to pay per email sent? I've seen ranges everywhere from .01-.25 per email...

what are your thoughts?

It depends on your ROI. If you make a profit of .10/e-mail sent out, then paying anything below that would be "fair." Paying anything above that would be "stupid." :)

Considering the number of email messages that never reach the recipient, even an opt-in audience, I think payment should be "per successful delivery and reception" instead of "per email sent"

As someone who is selling this service, what should *I* charge?
Is .01 per email too low?

Whatever the market will bear. What do similar newsletters charge? How do their markets compare to yours?
