In planning my first "real" affiliate website. I have a few ideas, but don't know which is the best approach. I'm capable of setting up deep links, creating my own database, writing okay landing pages. I have a smallish budget for PPC and have had some minor success with Google Adwords on some of my other sites. These seem to be my options.

1 - Strictly affiliate .. product category & name links to landing pages that are generated by a database query. I can do pretty much all of this by myself .. although not as quickly as would be nice.

2 - Affiliate + Information (30 - 50 pages) on a number of subjects, with text links to landing pages much as the above. I will have to hire (then edit and rewrite, I assume) content writers to create the content. This approach should get some natural SE traffic.

3 - Same as #2 with product reviews added. The problem is how to get reviews .. without stealing them from another site .. and having them sound credible. Shouldn't this get better SE traffic than either of the 2 options above?

4 - Affiliate + Information + Expert reviews.
An in-depth review is much more useful than 1000000 one-line "I like it" / "This is bad" user genereated reviews.

Is an "expert review" really different from an information page?
