What do you make of these numbers?

What potential is there?

What sort of numbers are we talking about per month with banner impression, pay per view type advertising?

Potentially what sort of numbers with AdSense?

Just looking for a rough idea.

Sorry, that table got a bit mangled. I guess the important figure is the last one, monthly total hits.

Nope, hits is NOT important. Page views is much more important. But even then, if it's all bots, page view can be misleading.

And it all depends on your site's focus, and many other factors, but I would think your site could potentially earn $150-200 a month or so. But again, could be higher, could be lower.

What's your average number of visitors? I assume you're using Webanalyzer?

Webalyzer? Yes, I believe so. I'm afraid I don't have direct access to the data so I'm trying to get some idea given the information I have.

diamondgrl: Is that $150-200 a month with AdSense, PPV Banners or both?

Off banners, the more impressions/visits you get, the more you can make, because you're basically going for CPM rates. Depending on your site's content/theme, Adsense may or may not do well. But if you're averaging over 10k/unique visitors a day, I'd think you could do $500/$600 easily with an ad network like Fastclick, Burst, or Casale -- probably a combo of all three.

Speaking of Fastclick, Burst and Casale, does anybody know how they structure the renumeration for publishers?

Is it like £1 per impression?

Could somebody give me an indication of numbers please?

Fastclick pays out 65% of all earnings, Burst Media 50% (if you don't sign their exclusive constract), and Casale pays out 70%.

Do you mean 65% of revenues earned from customers that buy through links placed on your site through to affiliated merchants?

Please clarify, its friday and I'm obviously slower today.
