Affiliate Fraud

Hello everyone,

I'm an affiliate manager for an affiliate network. Has anyone found a better way of determining affiliate fraud than calling to verify if the fraudster is using an offer in an effective manner?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld. Calling will greatly reduce affiliate fraud, but won't eliminate it. I have heard of services that will answer the phone in said person's name etc. Also make sure the affiliates site has something to do with what you are selling. if his site is about cars and you are selling ebooks......

I've seen a ton of fraud applications where they list some random site, use that person's whois info and then want payment in a different name and a different address.
