After dismal Adsene and affiliate earnings I want to try selling product directly to my visitors.

The product is a consumable and can be dropshipped and very one needs it (e.g toothpaste).

My question to forum is how many orders can I expect per 1000 visitors.
Lets say my ctr is 2% which means 20 people will click on my toothpaste ads(or will it be more). and then what.

Please suggest some numbers.

Thanks

No way to know.

It depends on your site, your product, your price, your checkout system ...

Just because everyone needs it does not mean they will all buy from you ... how does your site compare with the competition?

Try it and see; if you are drop-shipping, you won't need to spend in advance ... but you'll not get much profit, either. The drop-shipper will take most of it - he is shipping for you and many of your rivals. To remain competitive, you'll need to keep your margins very low.

It's usually cheaper to ship yourself, but see how it goes before investing in stock.

Good Luck!

I agree, because they are on my site for different reason. I guess I will have to try.
