This may be a stab in the dark as I know many guard some of their secrets very closely, I understand why!

My situation closely resembles a previous poster here who stated that while their site received many visitors per day, the click rate was horrible due to the fact those users are browsing or occupied with details of the current site and are less interested in clicking out! My theme is completely different from that poster, thus the rules may be different?

It is a horrible dilemma: On one hand I do not want the user to leave but on the flip side I must start turning some sort of revenue or else take things offline completely. It seems I should be able to convert a percentage of the close to 100,000 visitors a month the site gets?

Would anyone care to enlighten or otherwise shed some light on ideas, either via sticky or on this board?

If you get massive numbers but no one is interested in clicking/buying anything, slap some banners on that bad boy and get paid per impressions (CPM). Sign up with Fastclick, Burst Media, or Casale. They all offer CPM banners. So from now all you'll make money off your visitors regardless if they click or not.
