Have you engaged in any "guerilla" techniques that have been successful?

A friend was telling me about having 10,000 #2 pencils imprinted with a special business URL & message and leaving the pencils everywhere he went. It resulted in a lot of traffic to the URL.

Anyone have other examples?

Although I haven't yet tried it, I've been considering getting a bumper sticker or having the url of a local-interest site put in letters on the back window of my truck. Has anyone had any good results from doing something like this?

I use a magnetic sign on the back of my vehicle with my URL on the sign. By using a magnetic sign, I can remove it when necessary.
