Hi guys,

I'm new to the site, but have lurked on and off for a number of years.

I recently launched a blog that features editorial content almost exclusively. (I don't know if it's allowed to post the name or URL, so I didn't)

Google denied my application due to "adult language" (the site name contains the word "B*tch" used as a verb meaning "to complain" not as the expletive/swear word)

Since I cannot use the AdWords network at the moment, I was wondering what everyone here recommends to fill the space with. At this point there is minimal traffic, so I am willing to use banner exchanges, paid advertising, or both.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Jeremy. There are some other contextual ad programs out there, so just do a search for that and you'll find some alternatives. Since your site has minimal traffic, I would concetrate on getting your traffic levels up as the number one priority, then the revenue will follow.

Thanks for the reply and the warm welcome!

Are there any banner exchange programs worth looking into to help boost traffic? I wouldn't mind filling my adspace with free ads if I was getting ads of my own out of it.

Thanks,
J
