Autoresponder sales from sites. Help please.

I was wondering if i could get your opinion.
Well,

Q.1. I was wondering if you guys had any info on whether Consumers would be open to paying for Autoresponder (emails) sales?

(For example,a info course on something sent to them through
email(autoresponder) on a Regular basis. [Monthly}

Q2. Anyone have any info on this?
"Real Data" on this?

Do you guys think people are willing to pay for something like this?

Q3. Anyone have any experience in selling something like this?

Q4. Is it worth setting something like this up or are people not
interested in this type of thing?

Seems to me they would rather have some sort of access to a site to
(password) rather than a emailing.

**Please answer if you have "Real" experience in this area as i don't
want to try this method if it does not have the potential of producing good sales.
