Amazon has an affiliate program. Amazon also has a dropship program where you can sell Amazon products to your customers and have the product shipped to the customer by Amazon.

Does anyone here have experience with both of these - any advantages or disadvantages of each?

The aff program pays low, but doesn't require you to have a merchant account or handle any of the cash and the ensuing headaches that are associated with that.

I don't have any idea about their dropship program but I would think it would have to pay more than the aff program as your overheads will be higher dealing the payment issues, CS issues, answering emails etc.

I've personally never worked with either one, but these are the general pros and cons of using one method or another.

The aff program pays low...

Base commission rate is 5%, which isn't spectactular, but in my experience Amazon converts better than similar programs, such as Barnes and Noble, so keep that in mind. Amazon also has a "performance" plan under which you get higher rates for selling more items. I consistently earn 7% as a result.

No experience with the dropshipping, but the affiliate program is decent. I've been in it for seven years.
