Free site trying to find a good reasonable ad program.

Yes, In about a year or so I will be opening up a social/dating website completely free. I have been looking at google adsense but the prices seem unreasonable since I want more volume of users rather than charging them and making my money back. The problem with alot of the keywords in google is they are $1 or more per click and for a free site 2 grand for 2000 users isnt to reasonable. I want to know if other users have found better ad campaigns then google adsense for a website like mine. Im looking for quantity just like everyone for less money. However im not trying to sell a specific product. Any information would be helpful and if you could describe your experience that would be great!

I think you mean adwords correct? Why not get links placed at various sites that are related to your site, along with buying some links that will send you good traffic. These are starting points, but in a hear from now who is to say what will be the best way to get a bunch of new members.

Yes I did mean google adwords. I agree link exchanges are always a plus however majority of the sites with good traffic related to my site currently use google adwords or have overpriced ads(i.e myspace) Now I do see some good descent keywords on adwords that are .05 cents a pop I could add a bunch of those and get the most for my money they wouldnt be as broad of keywords as the $9.56 keywords. But getting targeted users is getting targeted users. Anyone use the .05 keywords?
