Hi all,

I am developing a new website, and want to include affiliate advertisers as well as adsense on the same pages. Yes, adsense is a good option, but who are the actual players worth the time in the affiliate space. We need simple image ads mainly i.e. 728x90, 250x250's, but recognised international companies. The following we have identified. Is there any others are perform well and offer a good service?

- Amazon
- Ebay
- Chitikia
- Vibrant
- Kontera
- Commission Monster

Also, is there any feedback on these services?

Amazon is ok, I guess, though their rules to get you a sale are pretty strict (customer must buy in session, no cookie for returning customer etc). What's with the affiliate networks like zanox and affilinet (if you're in europe)? They have a lot of offers, often providing banners and/or text-deeplinks.

Thanks, i had a look at these and they were not what I am looking for. Does anyone have any information on advertising.com, or any other major affiliate groups?

Advertising.com is OK. Their CPM is not necessarily the greatest but they have a high fill rate. Chitika's "premium" version pays well on many sites and you should definitely have a look at Kontera or one of the other in-text networks.

I am moving away from Google and YSM and gradually getting into ad networks. They are tricky and require some testing but I believe that they offer much greater traffic potential. The crucial thing is too ensure that they offer good targeting options and tracking.

You have to find ones that offer the products your visitors will want to buy.
