Apologies if this has been covered before but I don't have enough info on what I am looking for to construct a decent keyword search, hence this post.
My query:
I am interested to find out what is the best way to contextually monetise text ads from a vertical search engine site which displays search results.
e.g. putting AdSense on something like a recipe search engine site which has lots of page views/searches, doesn't yield much click throughs. The ads don't seem to be as relevant, but I have seen other "mainstream" sites that seem to directly query an ad server with the exact search terms which bring up more focused ads.
Does Google/Yahoo offer keyword level of ad serving? Do any others offer this as well? If so where can I sign up?
Any advice on the above (which I hope makes sense) will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
The ad layout seems customised, not the normal Google Adsense box. Doesn't even mention "Google Ads"
Question is, where does Google/Yahoo offer this type of service? I can't find any mention on their sites.
