Automatic rejection of CJ publishers

Is it because I am not in the US?

Hi,

I saw an older thread with the same subject and description. Commission Junction actually rejected my publisher application instantly and I don't get how it works.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

I don't want to spend money on international calls! What if the helpline makes me hold for 20 minutes or something? Costly proposition. Unless they have a separate number for handling international calls. Which they don't. So...

Well you can always email them and hope and wait....and wait. Really an international call using skype or something is like .01 per minute, so if you really want to be a part of cj, either wait for the email that may never come, or spend the .20 and call and find out directly.

Well, I sent the email to the Press thing. So I don't know. If someone can get me an email address I could inquire to find out.

Most automatic rejects have to do with your current status in CJ. Some merchants state, "We don't want any publishers who aren't at least 3-bars or making X amount."

If you are brand new with no history with CJ, you tend to get more auto rejections.

Can you clarify who is rejecting you? Is CJ rejecting your application to become a publisher, or are advertisers rejecting you when you apply to their program?

If it's advertisers- ask them why. I have found that in about half the cases I get accepted after asking why. Most of the other cases explained their criteria for rejecting us. Except one little snit who refused to say why they rejected us, but said I could reapply later once we had made the changes to meet their criteria!
