Making Little Money From Ads and Adsense - How To Change This

To note, I have a very new site, but I am already pulling around 400 uniques a day. I have yet to be indexed by Google, so this will obviously increase, but through this traffic I can still get an idea of what is paying and what isn't.

My site is on MMA (Mixed Martial Arts.) For those of you that don't know that is like UFC. The site is a blog site with lots of updates and content on news as well as videos and highlights of fighters. It also has individualized articles.

Currently I have Adsense and ads for Sportsbooks. I really thought the Sportsbook part would work better as I have concentrated on betting odds as well as give the lines for upcoming fights. Betting MMA is something I am very proficient with, so I thought it would be a good idea to focus on this.

So, being that I am making little money I thought about trying to find other affiliates to market. I looked at ClickBank, but from what I have read here ClickBank doesn't sound to great.

Any ideas as to where to get affiliates, products to market, etc? I would really appreciate any input.

Thanks.

Maybe some training videos or training courses might work, but with the amount of visitors you have, you won't be making much. Have you mined your logs to see where your traffic is coming from and what keywords they use to get to your site. You need to offer your visitors something that they are looking for, so how they found your site is important.

I'm not sure but are adsense ads really allowed along side of betting ads?

As far as I know adsense ads are allowed along betting ads. The only thing that I saw was that adsense did not allow pornographic material on the site.... In fact I looked at some of the big name MMA news sites and they have Adsense and Sportsbook ads.... so I would guess all is well.

How many visitors do you need to get for Adsense to become worthwhile, and what is a decent clickthrough rate? The thing that is difficult is identifying something that people would be interested in buying online for my demographic. It is of course going to be mostly younger males.

With Adsense if you even have to think "Maybe it's not allowed" it's not allowed.
