Hi Everbody,

I'm going to start a new amazon affiliate website, just to try whether aff biz is something for me or not.

I have found a nice keyword in a niche, the dotcoms are already registered but the rest is still available (.net etc.)

Because I want to start small and want just make the step (tnx to rfung:-) ) i will registrar one domain.

widgets.net or widget.net

The name is like: usedcar or usedcars.com

Do want to give me some piece of advice?

Thanks a lot

Usually I go with what feels more natural, but always double check and see which gets searched more often.

from overture's inventory tool:

cars.com - 202,917
car.com - 355

(obviously due to their branding, but you get the idea).

It's harder to compare 'car' and 'cars' without the .com because overture lumps them together, but there are other sources out there. (ask your ppc rep who has more access to data for example)
