Now this blew my mind. Normally Adbrite is a measly performer for us but we still have it linked in a daisy chain to run ads if they're above a certain CPM. Well, low and behold, we had an ad show the other day that was clicked just once (it was CPC, not CPM based) and the income from the click was a whopping $70!

Just goes to show that daisy chains and diversification of ad networks can pay off even on networks that generally under-perform compared to others.

My guess is that it was an advertiser's mistake (e.g., forgot to put the decimal point when entereing the bid amount or soemthing like that). Any idea what Adbrite's policy is (on the advertiser's side) for mistakes like that?

I guess someone made a painful mistake. Especially since the $70 you're getting is only a portion of what abrite is getting :o
