How to track purchases through affiliate link at CJ.com?

Ya'll. I'm now trying to build a website where users can get cashback for shopping through their affiliate links.

I've learnt how to cloak affiliate urls to make them look consistent. But I am wondering how to track whether a user actually makes a purchase after clicking my affiliate link? Because I'd also like to give them a certain amount of cashback for their purchase. I am wondering how to know if they make a purchase or not.

Sorry, I'm a little lost as to exactly what it is you are trying to do? From what I read, your trying to reward the purcahser for buying on top of the commission reward the referer gets for displaying the link / banner that led to the sale?

I'm not sure that this is possible. I guess you'd be relying on your affiliate programme recoding the details of purchase, but from expereience the only information the save is product, price etc.

If you could explain a little clearer what it is you are trying to do then maybe I could help.
