LookSmart CFO Departs

William Bush, chief financial officer of LookSmart Ltd., left the company Jan. 24.

San Francisco-based LookSmart, an online advertising company, didn't say why Bush left. Brian Gibson, the company's principal accounting officer, took the CFO job on an interim basis.

LookSmart also gave Ted West, its interim CEO, the permanent title of president and CEO. He's held the interim job since August. He is chairman of LookSmart's board of directors.

Hehehe, I've been monitoring those "unanswered posts" and I was waiting for this one to get some fanfare.

What does LookSmart do these days? I've not kept up with their progress since all the hubbub back in the day. Didn't LookSmart go down in history with most of the others? Or, do they have like a 0.01% market share somewhere?
