i started a trial affiliate site ( and i say trial coz it was were badly done website, made in 8 hrs and so on).I launched it in december, and in december i made $100 off it in affliate commissions. However the conversions against the traffic i brought on it were shameful. I am not sure whether i should stick to it and keep working on it or just let go of this idea coz of low conversions and other stuff.
What would you do?

The questions are
- how much work would it take you to keep making $100/month? 8 hours? Maybe move on. 1 hour? Well, I think $100/hour is very good pay.
- how much work would it take you to make $400/month? 8 hours? That's $50/hour on a new site, which sounds pretty good to me too.
So I don't know why you care about conversions if the $100 is profit. Rework the site and increase conversions and traffic.
My simplistic approach to affiliate marketing is: What can I do today that will increase this site's income by $1 tomorrow -- and each day thereafter? It's a basic, realistic goal that after a while adds up to real bucks.
