Hi, I am at a total loss, I really need help to get a forum revenue up. It receives about 15k+ visitors a day and it's a very busy forum (2.5mil+ pageviews a month). I use google adsense but am thinking I can do better getting advertisers. Is there a place where companies are looking for mid to large forums to advertise on? Thanks for you help.

I might consider direct advertising deals, or if your forum deal with products of some sort, try out some affiliate links and see if sales might bring in some revenue. Keep testing to see which method works best, or which combination works best.

There's a very popular niche forum that gets a ton of traffic. The owner(s) have an interesting advertising strategy that brings in serious money.

The forum has tons of banner ads, with varying price levels. The least expensive is a banner that costs $125 a month. The most expensive is a package that includes a banner that appears on every page of this huge site, plus a forum dedicated solely to that advertiser's product.

Thus, the advertiser can read comments and criticisms about his product, and reply to both.

On top of that, the site has three major banner advertisers who are paying bigger dollars just to have their banners on the site.

I've done a little number crunching, and I estimate that the ads bring in at least $6000 a month. Other people have told me the figure is much higher.
