Any companies that would take up the development of a web site?

Not just promotion, not content, but business development

Hello,
I believe I have a business niche web site portal with good development potential.

Actually, i'm only running adsense to make a profit out of it.

Are there any web companies, that could take up a web site, and develop promotion, and find new ways to monetize it? Like taking contacts with other company, setting up sales deals and such?

I would really like to move to another step in a professional, less room-underground way.

All I can think is - what's to stop them from stealing your idea? Contracts are great, but you might have to be ready to enforce it in the court of law.

I'd suggest you contract it out to different parties. Get a web developer to work on the actual pages, then a web marketer to promote it.

Yes, actually, the web site is already all done. What I need, as it was brought up, is a "web marketer".

First time I heard about this.... do you know good web marketers?

And just to clarify, i don't think anyone can steal an idea of a 'portal', but they can do it for the 1)specific niche 2)the actual implementation (i.e.competitive advantage, what makes you different than everyone else)...
