I think this is interesting, because it probably gives an indications of future trends - if you consider the average firefox user to be more *evolved* than the average IE user.
With firefox users more likley to click on contextual ads, are we finally going to see the death of the pop-up/under thanks to commerical reasons, rather than software solutions?
Has anybody else seen similar patterns? Text advertising converting better for non-IE users? popups working for IE users? Anybody tried targetting different browser users along these lines?
However, I have noticed that my banner CTR across both platforms is considerably less than text ads. I have observed this trend for over a year.
