Which software to manage & track ads on my site?

We've spent a year building up a content-based website and now we'd like to put some ads on - both from AdSense and from relevant companies.

We need a system for managing ad placement/rotation, cost structure and tracking of ads (CTR etc) and we were thinking of an off the shelf solution that can be integrated with our site.

If anyone has positive experience with such a software, would you share it here - there are so many different packages out there and I find it difficult to choose (I'm under time pressure too, as we've had a couple of enquiries from people who want to place ads on the site)!

Thank you.

Try phpAdsNew (google for it). It's pretty stable and works well if you're in a php / mysql environment.

If not have a look at ad management scripts at one of the larger script resources.

If you have high traffic (~ 100 million ad impressions a month), or plan on doing some targeting, I recommend Accipter's Admanger. I have used them and I think their software works quite nicely. They provide you with all the training you will ever need and their reporting is very good. Plus they are priced right.

If you have lower traffic and plan on running mostly run-of-site ads, then phpadsnew works well.
