When does CJ pay performance incentives?

Just a question

One of the advertisers I work with through CJ offers a performance incentive after a certain number of sales has been reached.

Last month we reached the point that we qualified for incentive pay and this month seems to be on track to do the same.

When does the incentive money get paid? I emailed CJ & the affiliate manager a week or so ago but have yet to receive an answer.

Is it paid monthly, quarterly, net 90 or what.

I'm not in any kind of panic over this but would just like to know. My payment from CJ this month for monies earned last month was what it was supposed to be, minus the incentives.

Thanks

Does the specific advertisers say in which period they will pay? They might have some sort of time allowance for chargebacks etc.

That sucks that neither the program nor cj does not get back to you.

From the advertisers terms & conditions on CJ's site I couldn't find anything about payments on incentives, just the normal "locked on the 10th unless extended". From the advertisers public website I checked out the "Affiliates sign up here" link. They had the same information with a little more fine print. Nothing in the fine print mentioned incentives, just the normal what you can and can't do.

I'm just really curious if anyone on the forum deals with and receives incentive payments. Do they come with the main payment? If so, what's the waiting period. Or do I have to wait until my incentive money reaches the payout level of the advertiser or CJ so it becomes a separate payment?

It's included with the normal month payout. I think my bonuses come in the month after I get paid for the sales.

Get $1,000 in commissions in Sept. Get paid for those on or about Oct 22. Get the bonus in the payout for Nov. 22.

skibum,
Thanks for the answer. But now I find myself with more questions on the same subject.

Let's say you get a 5% bonus for over 15 sales in a month and a 10% bonus for 25 sales. Do the first 15 sales pay the standard amount with sale # 16 to 25 paying a 5% bonus and any sales over 25 paying a 10% bonus? Or once you hit your bonus mark do all sales pay the same incentive?

Thanks again.

You're welcome, tomequin

I think that is up to the merchant to determine if a bonus or increased payout percentage is retroactive to the first sale. Your best bet would be to clarify that with the affiliate manager listed in the program terms or send a support question to CJ. If you can get the affiliate manager to answer you, that would probably be the best way to get a fast & accurate answer.
