Does anyone know of a company (maybe an internet marketing company or just a marketing company) that I can call who will act as an agent between me and a company that may want to sponsor our website.

We are interested in branding our popular website with a company that would directly benefit from being associated with us. We are not looking for affiliate programs, or a company that tries to fill advertising space. We want a marketing company or person that we can talk to about our strategic needs and our goal of not hosting ‘random ads’ on our site.

You're looking for a rep firm (a publishing term). Google around for rep firms and you'll find a few.
