What's the best way? Just running a poll on my site?

Also, what do advertisers want to know... age, sex, and what else?

Thanks!

That's kind of easy to figure out.

What is your site about? - Let's say you sell private jets...

What are your demographics? - People with too much money, usually male, in their late 40's, also likes whisky, cars and exclusive villas...

What is your site about? - Let's say you sell widgets.

What are your demographics? - Kids around 15-25, usually bloggers, often female, likes to show off to their friends, has more money than their average age to spend.

To be honest, you can pretty much figure out who you are targeting by just looking at your site and the contents.
