Hi,
I would like to join in Commission Junction Advertiser program. I have couple of websites with two different products. One with website templates & other with business brochures. My questions are:
1) What's the joining fee in CJ?
2) Can I register for a single account to promote both my products?
3) Do CJ offer good support to non US residents? (as I'm from India)
4) Do they send checks only in US dollars?

Your timely advice would help me to take the right decision.
Look forward from you.

Thanks in advance
Stephen

Obviously, the best source for this information would be to contact Commission Junction directly.

My understanding is that the startup cost at CJ is in the range of $2,500 to $5,000, with minimum-monthly fees of about $2,500, though that may have dropped. LinkShare charges more; most other "affiliate network" companies charge less.

Personally, I detest both CJ and LinkShare, and won't do business with either (in any role, affiliate or merchant. They both provide dismal support for affiliates, and give their merchants terrible advice. I've recently added Kowabunga (MyAP) into this group, as they worked overtime this summer to drive away many of their long-term merchants by imposing huge fee increases with less than 30 days' notice; they were recently acquired by a company with very dubious ethics.

My "favorite" network these days is ShareASale.com, which promises much less to merchants, but unlike CJ and LinkShare, ShareASale delivers on its promises. There are many other "affiliate network" companies, some of them respectable and some of them very dubious.

Thanks for your reply Markwelch. I had previously contacted Commission Junction regarding this, but I haven't got any reply still.
If anybody have a clear picture about this....Please help me out.

If I contact a company with a sales question, and I don't get any reply within a reasonable period of time (usually 1-2 business days), I simply strike the company off my list of options.

I know that the sales department is almost always the MOST responsive department at any company, and if the sales department doesn't respond in a reasonable time, I expect that other departments are going to be much worse.

Imagine what your experience would be like if you "fought your way through" to become a customer, and then had to deal with the company's staff to help with setup or with technical problems. Be thankful, and move on.
