Hi all, I'm new here.

I'd like to ask this question: In Commission Junction, do the columns "3 Month EPC (USD)" and "1 week EPC (USD)" mean that after 3 months/1 week that we run the ads, we will get this amount of money no matter how many click we receive? Or will we receive this amount of money in 3months/1 week if we receive 100 clicks or more during this period? (suppose that no purchase was made)

Thanks all experts here.

They're just averages based on the total amount you're getting from clicks.

The amount you get from clicks is entirely determined by the terms of the advertiser that you've made an agreement with.

It's all what you've done so far, not what you will get going forward. Those numbers will probably go down assuming you'll get some returns around the 10th of each moneh.

I believe the 7-Day is for the previous 7 days, it represents the revenue you've generated divided by the number of clicks. 3-Month, is for the 3 months previous.

It is not a predictor, it is just a metric of how you've been doing and allows you to compare it to the rest of the merchants' affiliates in the program. You could be above or below that average EPC.

The number can be semi-useless if you are sending a bunch of traffic hoping to get a sale here and there. If you are doing sending PPC traffic, the metric is helpful in determining about how much to spend per click (EPC / 100).

It seems to me that the OP is asking about merchant EPC whereas the replies are commenting about affiliate EPC.

It is the same for the Merchant or the Affiliate.

When looking at the Merchant's stats, it represents the average for all their participating affiliates.

When looking at the Affiliate's stats it represents the average of the merchants' programs you are participating in.

It is not a predictor, it will not tell you specifically how much YOU will make in the future. It simply tells you how much HAS been made/generated on average in the past.

As many as you like unless they say otherwise in there rules (Which is highly unlikely).

The search engines may not like your page very much...but if your not bothered about that, link away.
