script to automatically download CJ reports every hour

does CJ provide an API to access reports from a script e.g. to check every hour for new posted transactions and SIDs or did anybody already hack something together?

You can subscribe to their free reporting service to have reports pushed to you as often as daily in various formats.

I'd be interested in a script that would allow more frequent data exchange as well.

How many times a day does one need to see their stats? Are you really analyzing and modifying your sites that often?

I know it's easy to become obsessed with your stats, but take it from me, it's a waste of time to do it more than once a day.

it's more about getting the SIDs out of the stats to reward users after buying something (at least I am playing with that idea, feedback highly appreciated)

The SID field is included with the report when you download the file from the reports page.

Do you need to reward your visitors in real time? CJ tends to lag an hour or two anyhow.

Some merchants report the SID and some don't -- and most require you to disclose any incentive program.
