I'm wondering if anyone knows if most from the UK tend to do the same.
The reason I'm asking is that I'm having a @#! of a time dealing with and getting paid in a timely manner from Amazon UK. I won't go into all the details except, bottom line, I'd like to dump them.
Still, if a person from the UK wants to purchase through my site and Amazon UK is the way to go, I'd like to offer them that option. If not, bye-bye Amazon UK!
I use both (where I use any), and my income is 4 to 1 in favour of .com
But my visitors on those sites are similarly distributed.
If you get a reasonable income, then sort out the payments (mine were problematic for two payments, and fine since; it's all automated, so once they settle down, you should be set for life.
But if they are not earners, dump em.
But I did finally get my March check. What a hassle it is to deposit in a US Bank; a long form the bank must fill out and uncertain about when the check will actually be deposited in your account.
Unless you want to buy CDs and Videos from Amazon UK and pay for the shipping to the US, and unless you make a huge amount of money through Amazon UK, folks from the US may want to consider if the hassle is worth it.
When you ask them a question and they respond "we'll get back to you shortly...."
Oh, never mind!
