I had an affiliate linking program running on my site for over a year that had never returned much so I set it to "store credit". Cut to a few months later and someone had placed a big order and I hadn't bought much from the store so I had to use it.

I know what I am doing in this case, but what would you do in a similar situation?

Thanks.

If I understand you right, you were to be paid in cash, then changed your mind to " store credit" instead of taking cash for your commission, correct?

Now someone has placed an order and instead of getting cash, you get store credit to buy something.

I know I'll always take the cash :).

I did end up using the store credit anyway, but for next time I am going to leave it on cash. Google will no doubt be considering some kind of "Google Credit" some time in the future (or has tried it already.)
