What are the best ad networks to work with? Which networks have the highest CPM's? Which networks pay the best? I know these are all very basic questions, but I am new to this and wanted to see people's opinions so I can check out the networks they refer to see who I might possibly work with. I have a site that will be launching in May and wanted to make sure I made any revenue possible and also have the adnetwork help generate traffic to my site. With an adnetwork do I get paid only or do I have to pay anything? Please help...

What space are you working in?

IMHO, all CPM is bad, unless you are doing videos or games and have little other choices.

why don't you experiment, what works for one site might not work for yours, the Top networks IMHO, appear to be

CJ
Google-adsense
YahooPN

in alphabetic order, Google an Yahoo are the easiest to set up ,

Yahoo is restricted to USA based businesses

And their are lots of others,

How about AdBrite?

In my experience the listed above affiliate programs have proved to be most effective - in reverse order:

1. adBRite
2. Google adSense
3. YPN
4. Azoogle
5. ValueClick

Anyway, I have to add I haven't been in affiliate marketing for so long but these are my observations so far.
