You may noticed that a lot of web sites promote these type of ADs ("free screensaver" or "click me click me click me click me" via fastclick or something else). I could not understand that how can these sites earn money from "free" screensavers. I clicked one screensaver ad and the landing page asks me to install an ActiveX control. How can they earn money from this?

There is most likely adware or spyware on the "free" programs.

Does this mean I will stop displaying fastclick ADs on my website immediately?

It sure would be nice.... Fastclick seems to like advertisers that have a lot a free stuff, which in the end leads to spyware and adware. For example, those popular "free smiles", have adware and a toolbar on them.

And then the IE will look like this:
[onestab.net...]

Money is good but I already removed all my fastclick codes.
