Then we have Travel and Dating that have intense competition as above.
What is the potential of "Home Services" and "Finance" (Mortgage, Insurance, Debt Consolidation) affiliate industries?
I've heard Super affiliates for Pills/adult/Casino make over $50,000 a month or even more. How good and paying are other Affiliate Industries?
Any successful affiliate with the right skill set and a good team should be looking at diversifying into as many affiliate industries to create additional streams of revenue.
It’s never safe to rely on a few keywords within the same industry or even a few sites.
How to diversify and what industries to pick that really perform?
Thanks

I am by no stretch of the imagination a super-affiliate but it is possible to make money in the above sectors. It is very competetive but with some good seo covering all keywords it will turn a nice profit. I use static sites and no external advertizing and have made these sectors profitable.

If you happen to know one of those verticals really well, you can get into it and be successful regardless of the competition. If you don't, you may be better off focusing on less competitive markets.
You would be surprised how much affiliate gold is lying in the river beds of these less competitive markets.
