I put IAN/travelnot er travelnow links on a number of my sites with a fairly decent investment in time doing so.

About a month ago I noticed that it was impossible to book a room if you had kids for most hotels if you were using IE7. Their support staff said they were aware of the problem and were working on it. Their advice was tell your users to use an alternate browser such as firefox

Well, it is now a month later.. I'm not getting any bookings which isn't surprising.

My fear is that users will develop a Pavlovian response of "oh that site never works" for both my sites and travelnow/ian links in general.

Anyway, I'm considering changing over some of my sites to another travel affiliate. It's going to be a lot of work but I'm not seeing much of an alternative.

I was wondering which travel affiliates were good currently.

I find it hard to believe that it's taking this long to fix the system. I would have to think that they are seeing a drop in their reservation numbers unless the affiliate thing is a really small part of their business. that doesn't make sense either.

At what point does the booking process fail? I just tried two and they both worked.

I've gotten a few bookings with Lodging.com recently, but none with IAN.

Problem is, Lodging.com got eaten by Orbitz a couple of years ago and the Lodging website is losing more and more features (I don't even see a way for a new affiliate to sign up). I fear Orbitz may put the Lodging affiliates out of business before too long.

Not too many options left for travel affiliates.
