I have noticed in the pill industry many sites rank #1 with no backlinks.
The sites themselves are cloaked redirects, but how is it the URL which shows up in the Google Index at #1 shows no backlinks?

Did you check Yahoo to see backlinks?

How do you cloak backlinks on Google
usually you don't need to. Google does it for you.

The pr4 or under not showing has been gone for a while. Google now displays a completely random list of your worst links. So, Google is basically cloaking all of your good links for you. Fortunately yahoo has a pretty good link checker.
