best ways and places to advertise affiliate program.

My company is launching affiliate program in March. It is in dating industry and I was put in charge of that since I am doing all seo and SEM for our products.

My question to you is which is the best way to attract quality affiliates and where are the best places to advertise.

Build some great program features/benefits first. I saw you had some great advice on what affiliates look for in another thread. Then do a search for affiliate directories, and start submitting your program to the 100 or so affiliate directories that are out there.

Do a search for affiliate forums. Make yourself known by making useful and informative posts. Some forums allow signatures where you can put your program information, others allow program announcements, and still others have paid advertising options.

And then of course, there's just searching for websites that fit your niche, and trying to contact those webmasters directly to inform them about your program.
