Hi,

I have been reading a lot in this forum and all the information has encourage me to try new stuff. I though it could be interesting to know about your mistakes when you first started with affiliate marketing.

As a beginner I don't have much to share but one mistake that is worth mention is for example having US checks sent home. I got a check valued $108 and if I cash it in I will get back about $30. I'm going to solve this by letting the APP do a wire transfer

For these $30 I have spent about $160 on Adwords trying about 30 clickbank merchant products. I have found 3 or 4 programs with very little profit but a proof that it works.

Sincerely
Andla

Its thing like this that people dont consider when signing up and spending theirmoney on PPC - Ive done the same to some extent.

Never found PPC to work overly well.

me too.. spent most of my advertising $ on adwords but have very few profit from this... rfung's usage of ppc seems like a better approach to leverage ppc.

Have you read Google Cash?

1. The Author mentioned about finding keyword with high bid and follow them from the affiliate to the merchant and then find a different approach to profit from the merchant program and that hasn't many high keyword bids.
If this is what you do then what is the problem?

2. Also finding keyword that are increasing in popularity and find an affiliate program fitting that keyword.

I would find Nr 2 would still work because then you are head of the game and there aren't much competition.

Well this is what I have learned and I have not tried this method to a far extent but rather tried Barrys blog information at:

Seams that he is doing rather very well on this.
