I have a few sites and I would be interested in trying CPM advertising (I' already using Adsense).

Which program would you guys recommend? And what kind of earning can I expect every thousand pageviews?

The topic of my sites: computers/hardware/technology

I'd recommend Fastclick. The CPM on banner adverts varies widely (from less than 10 cents to over $5), but you can manually deselect any campaigns with a CPM you consider too low.

Burst! Media was offering a medium sized box at something like $9.01CPM for awhile... although I've personally had rediculously bad experiences with them, others have prospered.

Tribal Fusion also has some decent rates (over 5 in the right catagory), and much better customer service and stats.

What did you mean with bad experiences? Did they refuse to pay or were there other problems?

From what I've read on the internet, tribalfusion either seems to pay more for their cpm banners or displays higher quality banners.

And someone from a different forum said that you should start with:

Google Adsense
Fastclick
Fastclick with casale as a default banner for fastclick

Then when you get enough hits, switch to TribalFusion

I've been with Fastclick since I started the site, and I've never had one bad experience with them. Although I'm curious -- is either Tribal Fusion or Burst! Media more profitable than Fastclick? I'm getting the kind of numbers now that I think I can get accepted to both Tribal and Burst, but I'm hesitant to switch because Fastclick has always been swell to work with.

I'm very happy with Fastclick, and it has some good-quality ads to choose from, along with the usual dreck.

I signed up for Fastclick and Tribalfusion and they didn't accept my site.

And Casale media approved my site.
