HI,

I've been searching for niche directories on which I could advertise my service, however I do not like what I see.

I think I have a great site and think that people would love to be seen on there, Now I have a series of link pages at the end.

I am wondering how I would investigate the possibility of starting some type of advertising directory.

Is this very complicated?

What is best?

Any suggestions you would give would be most appreciated.

Thank you

You will have seen that 99% of directories are of no use to man or beast, and exist to promote link exchanges or show advertisements.

There is room for at least one Quality Directory in every niche; you'd be providing a useful service and will cover your costs (but are unlikely to get rich).

May be good to search other niches, to get an idea of what a Quality Directory needs in terms of features, design, software and effort.

If you can answer the question "What Is A "Quality" Directory?", you are well on the way ...

Good Luck! :)

Thanks, I will look into it.

Now, it's time to make the turkey!

I think you may mean "cook the turkey" ..unless of course you are two turkeys / specialised in cloning ..or a minor deity ..

apricot stuffing and black peppers with white wine ( made from perfumed sweet variety grapes ) sauce ..and lace the turkey breast with bacon and rubbed with garlic and ginger ..serve with chilli / raisin / green mango chutneys ..

bon appetit ..:)
