I'm looking for a good travel affiliate program. Anyone having good or bad experiences with a certain program?

Until recently I would have recommend Travel Now. They have the same database as Hotels dot com and an XML interface.

However, they are constantly updating their XML system, changing required parameters and formatting. Their customer service has gone to nil, and it's even difficult to get a response from the affiliate manager.

I've seen some signs that things may be turning back around, so I am holding off jumping ship for now. But I will also hold off recommending them for now.

OneTravel is in bankruptcy.

Lodging.com got eaten by Orbitz.

IAN/Hotels.com is still around.

World Choice Travel is a good one, except they have minimum sale requirements for affiliates (They WILL cancel your account if you dont make the targets.)

See this thread for reasons not to go into travel as an affiliate:

B.S. (Barbara Streisand)

I make great money with commissions on Hotel Reservations. I could give a s---less about airline tickets.

for some travel = air.
we feed plenty of mouths with affiliation.

just need where to look at. if one was a regular agent for years and never thought of selling anything else than air travel, it may be tough.

I have 3 cruise booking websites that use ian.com/Travelnow. Two things about them. They show ads on their booking pages when people click to book a trip - in effect they use your traffic to get ad clicks themselves. And I found out that when you try to book a lot of the cruises you are prsented with, then the customers are presented with a phone number to call. How do you earn anything that way? In spite of the traffic a pageviews I still haven't sold a single cruise, so I'm looking around for another business partner.
